It’s almost here!

This year's theme is “Hope in the Midst of Unseen Battles ~ Behind Closed Doors.”

Vividbound, in partnership with the City of Raleigh, is preparing to host a powerful Community Outreach Event that will bring together survivors, families, community partners, and advocates for a day rooted in connection, empowerment, and collective impact. This free, community-wide event served as more than a gathering it was a movement centered on resilience, restoration, and breaking cycles of silence.

Every day, individuals and families within our communities face battles that others may never see the challenges that are often carried quietly and, at times, behind closed doors. This year's outreach is centered on bringing those unseen battles into a space of hope, encouragement, connection, and empowerment while reminding our community of the importance of showing compassion, offering support, and connecting people to resources when they need them most.

This year's outreach will also introduce new experiences and special additions unlike anything we have incorporated into our previous community outreach events. We are intentionally keeping some of those details under wraps for now but we look forward to revealing more as we get closer to the event!

The mission of  this outreach is to support survivors and their children who have endured abuse by distributing over 50 care packages and backpacks, while creating a safe, welcoming space filled with music, inspiration, and meaningful dialogue.

Sometimes leaving or navigating an abusive situation means starting over with very little.

Vividbound Survivor Care Packages are thoughtfully prepared to provide survivors of domestic violence and/or sexual assault with essential personal care and everyday items during times of need and transition.

Each package is more than a collection of necessities it is a tangible reminder that someone sees you, someone cares, and support is available.

Survivors interested in receiving a Vividbound Survivor Care Package may apply through the Vividbound website (click the button below) or email janine@vividbound.com to request an application. Packages are provided based on eligibility and availability.

Donations received in support of the care package initiative help Vividbound continue preparing these essential resources for the survivors we serve.
