Meet Our Master of Social Work (MSW) Intern Briana B.!

We are delighted to introduce Briana B., our dedicated MSW intern who has joined the Vividbound team. At Vividbound, we are committed to supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Our mission is to empower survivors of abuse during their transition from surviving to thriving. 

Briana is currently pursuing her MSW degree from Walden University. Additionally, she brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for social justice, with a focus on trauma-informed care and advocacy for survivors. 

During her internship with us, Briana will be working closely with our team in providing counseling services, conducting support groups, assisting with case management services, community outreach events, court proceedings, and more. Her contributions will be instrumental in furthering Vividbound’s mission and impact in the community.

Meet Our New Accounting Manager Princess V.!

We are thrilled to welcome Princess V. to our team at Vividbound! As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, we are committed to transparency, accountability, and making a positive impact in our community. 

Princess has a comprehensive background with managing accounting tasks, financial reporting, payroll, financial planning, risk management, financial reporting, and we are excited about the valuable contributions she will make to our financial management and overall mission.

We are thrilled to welcome Lurie M., MSW, LMSW, to Vividbound. Lurie brings a wealth of experience and passion to our mission of supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. 

As a dedicated professional, Lurie will be providing a range of essential services including Director of Case Management Services, Program Director of Support Services, Counseling/Therapy Services, and Intern Field Instructor.

Welcome our newest team member, Ashlee K., MSW, LCSW!

Ashlee has a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. She brings invaluable expertise to our organization. Ashlee also has many years of experience as being a medical social worker, therapist, intensive in-home lead provider for at risk children and adults, care manager, and more.

Ashlee has a proven track record in providing compassionate care, advocacy, and support to those in need. Her dedication to empowering survivors aligns perfectly with Vividbound’s mission to create a safe and supportive environment for women and children affected by abuse.

Meet our newest volunteer to the Vividbound Team, Trinity P.!

We are thrilled to introduce Trinity.  She brings a deep passion and dedication to supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. With her compassion and commitment, we are confident that she will make a significant impact in the lives of those we serve. Trinity is also a full-time college student at UNC Chapel Hill. She is double majoring in psychology and public policy.

Join us in giving Trinity a warm welcome as she begins this important journey with us. Together, we continue to empower and uplift survivors, providing the support and resources they need to heal and thrive.

Studies have shown that most nonprofit organizations within the U.S. rely heavily on volunteers to remain operable and to supplement staffing shortages. Essentially, Vividbound would not be able to operate efficiently without volunteers. Vividbound is beyond grateful and thankful for all who volunteered to be part of the Vividbound family.
 

 Welcome Alicia J. to the Vividbound Team as our new Director of Volunteer Services!

Alicia brings a wealth of experience, passion, and dedication to our mission of supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Also, Alicia provides services with other non-profit organizations throughout NC as an advocate for better resources and support to be implemented within the community.

In her new role with Vividbound, Alicia will be leading our incredible team of volunteers, ensuring they have the training, support, and resources needed to make a meaningful impact. With her leadership, we are confident that our volunteer program will continue to grow and thrive, helping us reach even more survivors in need.

We are thrilled to announce the newest member of our team, Lareeca S., who joins us as the Director of DBT Skills Training for Adolescents Services & Children Resources. With her extensive experience and passion for supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, Lareeca is set to make a tremendous impact. Her expertise in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) will be a valuable asset as we continue to enhance our services for young people and families. She is also passionate about helping children in need of additional support.

Engaging Minds Services, Inc.

We are THRILLED to announce Vividbound's new community partnership with Engaging Minds Services, Inc. in South Carolina (SC)

Vividbound supports women and their children who have endured domestic violence and/or sexual assault. Essentially, Vividbound is not limited to helping survivors that are within a certain county or state. We help survivors who are in need of resources no matter where the survivor is located. 

ENGAGING MINDS SERVICES, INC. in SC is a non-profit organization that provides comprehensive services to victims of human trafficking and abuse, including transitional housing, counseling, and support. Engaging Minds Services INC. aims to create a safer and more informed community, dedicated to eradicating human trafficking and aiding survivors in their journey toward healing and recovery.

Great things are coming for survivors/victims in need through Vividbound and Engaging Minds Services, INC. partnership.

South Carolina Indian Affairs Commission 

Vividbound is HONORED to announce our new partnership with The South Carolina Indian Affairs Commission.

The South Carolina Indian Affairs Commission is a non-profit that operates on a state-wide level organization dedicated to addressing the needs and concerns of Native American communities within South Carolina. The Commission focuses on advocating for the rights and interests of Native Americans, promoting their cultural heritage, and facilitating their access to resources and services. Also, the South Carolina Indian Affairs Commission is devoted to advocating and representing the Native American communities and state government, cultural preservation, facilitating resource access, and community support. Most importantly, the South Carolina Indian Affairs Commission aims to empower Native American communities and ensure their continued growth and prosperity.
